Tensor Electromagnetic Profiling of the San Andreas fault

(24 Hr Average Daily Reading of Infrasonic Harmonic Activity) Globally Strong Mainshocks have been Preceded by abrupt increases in the Unclamping Level, as observed in December 2004, and again in October 2005. The Pacific Plate is inferred to have transmitted the changes observed here from a large increase in lithospheric stress along the Sunda Trench, and the Eurasian Plate. The inference was made after the M9.0 earthquake which was preceded by an increase in the local Unclamping level. Since then, I've experimentally utilized the unclamping level as a barometer for monitoring global tectonic stress levels, with excellent results.
